We headed south from Watkins Glen to Montour Falls, and from there cris-crossed the country side, starting with the Middle Road / Ridge Road Loop and the Rt 228 / Rt 6 Loop around Cayuta Lake.

From there we headed down Rt 224 for the awesome Rt 223 / Marsh Rd / Rt 3 Loop. Langford Creek & Shaffer Roads brought us to the Village of Newfield for another photo shoot at the Newfield covered bridge.

From there, the next stop was Ithaca, and our favorite beverage factory, the Ithaca Beer Company.

After our tasting stop, we headed up the local favorite, Rt 327. Continuing on Halseyville Rd (Snooze!) we headed for lunch on Rt 89 at the Glenwood Pines Tavern which is a favorite at RoadFood.com
Lunch was excellent, and we continued on to Taughannock Falls.

We stopped for some ice cream at Cayuga Lake Creamery. Before departing the Rt 89 area, we drove the loop along Cayuga Lake near Sheldrake Point, and then headed south.

A quick shortcut through Doug's Favorite Village (Interlaken) took us to Rt 414 for a nice cruise back to Watkins Glen with great lake views. Clute Park on Seneca Lake provided another photo op.

And finally... You can't have a car geek meet in Watkins Glen without driving the "Old Course". We paused one last time at the famous "Stone Bridge".
